Your go-to alkalizing, enzyme-packed, healing and delicious daily beverage!

When you begin drinking this juice daily, you will begin feeling its benefits immediately!  This juice delivers vitamins and minerals directly to your body without disrupting your digestive system.

Fruit is left out of this recipe with the exception of an optional green apple if you want to sweeten it a bit. This is a good idea for juicing beginners that are just getting used to drinking green juice. We choose a green apple over other apples because it is lowest in sugar.

Green juice is best when drunk immediately after being made before any nutrients are lost. To help save time, I purchase all my ingredients for a week and wash them in the sink with a few drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide. This helps pull any dirt away and you will find your veggies stay fresher longer when you clean them. After cleaning, I place them all in a BPA free plastic bin and store in my refrigerator. This makes grabbing my veggies and juicing every day faster.

If juicing isn’t practical every day, you can store your green juice in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Something simple you can do it use mason jars, fill them up to the brim and close with the top. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

A good juicer is definitely an investment. You will find two types of juicers on the market – cold pressed/macerating and centrifugal juicers. Centrifugal juicers are generally cheaper but unfortunately the way they work you risk heating your juice which then can destroy the beneficial enzymes. They also don’t pull out as much juice from your product which means you will end up spending more in produce every week.

My juicer of preference is The Tribest Greenstar Elite Juicer. It does a great job moving through your produce quickly. If you haven’t invested in a juicer yet, you could blend your produce in a high-performance blender but remember this will leave all the fiber in your juice and it won’t have the same healing qualities.

This is a basic recipe and you can adjust quantities as you like but I suggest staying as close to the recipe as possible. I really hope you work to incorporate this healing juice into your daily routine, it is full of tremendous benefits. Once you begin, it will be hard to imagine your life without this miracle green juice!

Instructions
Prepare Produce
  1. Be sure you have thoroughly washed produce. Recommended to use organic and then wash with food grade hydrogen peroxide
  2. You can leave skin on apple and cucumber. If you wish you can use leave lemon skin on but leave the pith and seeds. There are wonderful nutrients in both.
Make Juice
  1. Turn the juicer on and push everything through, alternating between different ingredients. Adjust ingredients as you wish.
